Nicole White joined the University of Iowa Athletics staff in September of 2016. White is responsible for overseeing nutrition for all 22 athletic teams at Iowa. She came from the University of Oklahoma, where she served as an Assistant Sports Dietitian. While at Oklahoma, she oversaw nutrition for Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Tennis, Women’s Tennis, Men’s Golf, and Women’s golf. Before Oklahoma, White served as a Sports Dietitian at Northwestern University, where she shared responsibility for all varsity athletic teams.
White earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and completed her RD internship at Dominican University in River Forrest, IL. She received a bachelor degree in nutrition from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. During her undergrad time at Tennessee, she also had sports nutrition experience working with football and several other teams.
White is a licensed Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) through the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. She is also CPR/AED certified.
